Information Communally technology (ICT) in School Curriculum

 

Our school Administration takes major step to lay out a clear technology plan with focus on increasing access time for computer for both teachers and students. We give sufficient time to teachers and students in our school curriculum. All the teachers who has been completed this training under the Microsoft Project Shiksha program and ICT have formalized integration of computer technology in school curriculum.

 

The participating teachers have successfully created technology aided lesson plans and implemented the same in their teaching. They have been given technology-based projects to students. Specific parts of the project can be selected for their students to complete that suit their abilities. The teacher to help their students complete the writing portions of the activities can create templates. Extra time allowances can be made for students who need them.

 

 

Infrastructure, teacher and student training:-

 

Our school takes the major step to boost the integrations of technology teachers training, infrastructure and student learning.

 

1.  Our school has a well equipped computer lab. There are ten computers. All the   computers are connected with Internet. Our school have Scanner, Web camera, microphone, laser printer, Wi-Fi modem.

2.  Our school have BSNL Broadband unlimited Internet connection.

3.  All the teacher have trained under the program of Microsoft and ICT.

4. Digital Resources - Window 7 and 8, MS office 10,  Encarta Encyclopedias, Educational CD, Britain Encyclopedias, and teacher wed resources library etc.

Initiatives and policy: -

Our school Administration takes some initiative policy to encourage and ensure implementation of TAL. Our school first takes out the step of teacher’s training under the Microsoft Project Shiksha. All the teachers have been trained under the proper guide ness of MT Trainer. Our school also provided latest Advance training under Microsoft for their Master Training.

Our school gives the importance of technology in the teaching and learning process and has successfully integrated TAL in the school curriculum for enhancing students learning. All the teachers as well as the students get at lest two period per week in computer lab. Our school Administration should provide extra time after school closed.

Impact on students: -

Our school teachers have successfully created technology aided lesson plans in their teaching. They should have been given technology-based projects to students which enhanced their learning by invoking inquiry based learning and higher order thinking skills. They demonstrated a clear understanding of using computer technology in curriculum-based learning and its impact on students learning.

During the compilation and development of the project students will come across the intricacies of working with modern technology and how to get benefited form it.

Involvement of parents: -

Student’s parents also take keen interest in the field of new education Technology Aided learning. They has motivated by Teachers and Students. Some parents buy computer for their children they provided them good computers book. Some students also join computer Institution by their parents. Our school has established Computer Club to promoted successfully integrated TAL in the school curriculum for enhancing student learning. In this Computer Club, five parents are also made member.
 

Future plan : -   

 

ü  We try to make technology-based assignments and projects to all the students for relative topics. In future we developed Websites, blogs and wikis for school students.

ü   We will try to convert  all the subjects into digital presentation.

ü  Teacher and students developed a wide network to share their work by suing social sites. In future we try to conduct online exams, online survey, quiz etc.

ü  We created mobile blogs for students to easily excess from mobile.

ü  Developed new blogs for the students and carried out their activity, video, photo, information, important links etc.

ü  We try to develop Digital information Bank where the entire teacher saves their important presentation, video, web-resources etc.

ü  Gives online Guidance and Counseling to students. Organized awareness program, workshop, exhibition seminar and Education tour.

ü  We try to make every classroom fully equipped with LCD Projector.

ü  Make efforts for Advance trainings (ITC) to all the teachers and students.
