Government Inter College BHEL Hardwar

Govt. Inter college, BHEL senior secondary school is located at outside of BHEL area, near National Park of Uttrakhand in Hardwar had started the journey during the year of 1960 under the aegis of the highly educated and promising management and sincere and almost devoted principal .

Excellent Record of Education

The main objective of the School is to impart better education and spherical knowledge to the child. Last year the result of 10^th class was cent percent and 88 percent was overall result of 12^th class. The credit goes to experienced and sincere teachers of the school for merely bookish education cannot update the student’s knowledge, school is organizing smart classes teaching students to enhance, their personality development. Time to time cultural activity, workshop, and exhibition seminar are conducted for all around development of students.

Principal, Teachers, Official Staff and Students

 Shri Ram Bhadur is the Principal of this college. There are twenty teachers and ten official staff in this college. They’re about 500 Students in this college. All the teachers and students are well behaved, disciplined and laborious.

 

ICT in School Curriculum

 Our school Administration takes major step to lay out a clear technology plan with focus on increasing access time for computer for both teachers and students. We give sufficient time to teachers and students in our school curriculum. All the teachers who has been completed this training under the ICT program have formalized integration of computer technology in school curriculum. Our school have well equipment computer lab of having 10 new computer, laser printer, scanner, broad band internet connection with hi-fi modem.

Extracurricular Activity

Students of G.I.C.BHEL had participated in commerce Olympiad organized at DPS Hardwar, Where our school had given excellent performance. Science workshop and exhibition are also being organized in school and facilities to make science working models etc. by these activities the students are learning science by doing.

Cultural and Awareness  Activity

G.I.C.BHEL always believes in promoting various activities in the school. Students are encourage to take part in different cultural activity such as Art & Craft, Debates, Dance, Rangoli competitions etc. which nourishing the life of child as well as enhance their overall personality. Students organized a campaign to bring about awareness of Energy Saving, Aids Education, Vote , Health and Nutrients etc. Students go around the school vicinity area of taking banners and poster to create awareness.  

Sport Activity

School is very much concerned about the physical and mental development of child which develop interest of child not only in sports (Track & Field)but also create interest in studies, this year inter school chess competition was organized in G.I.C.BHEL had won the overall championship and was runner up in inter school badminton championship. The school has also arranged coaches for evening. Evening coaching is also provided in the school campus.

 

Eco School

G.I.C.BHEL is located near Green Shivalik Hill at Natin Park of Rajaji Hardwar in Uttrakhand. Our school is a poly bag free zone. Polythene bags is strictly prohibited in school area.  Teacher and Students were planted tree to keep school surround clean and pollution free.

Energy Conversation Club

 

On 5 Dec. 2013 our school established Energy Conversation club. All the students of class 6 to 12th and teachers were the members of clubs. The main aim of club to motivated school children and community for saving Energy and used environment friendly product. 

 

 

Science exhibition

             In science exhibition students create model of saving energy by using renewable source of energy. They made solar cooker, solar lantern, wind mall, and water energy etc. 

 

 

 Awards

 

 On dated 20 Dec. 2013 Students participate panting completion on Energy Conversation conducted by The Times of India, UREDA & ONGC. On this occasion Mr. Pradeep Negi (Lecturer) has been awarded for his best contribution in the field of Energy Conservation.

  

 

 

Education Tour

 

Our school organized education tour for school students. Students visited CHILA HYDRO POWER, Pauri Garhwal. Where they learned How the electricity generated by water and loss of Energy on supply of transmission in different areas.

On dated 14 Nov. 2012 Students participation on science Express Train visiting at Hardwar Railway platform. Students learning the India BIO-DIVERSITY and Environment around us. Students did some lab activity and received certificated.
